Hi, I’m John Dunlop

I’ve been a personal trainer on Long Island, NY for the past 15+ years. In that time I’ve worked with a wide array of clients, ages 7 to 85, from youth to professional athlete.
All of my clients are unique and have different goals, so training programs and nutritional counseling are catered to each persons individual needs.
You do not have to be, or have ever been an athlete to take care of your body and train like one. All you need is a good plan, positive attitude and the willingness to work hard.
If you’re a nice person with a goal of making yourself move, look and feel better; then you are most likely the right fit for me.
Why WOKE?…
There is absolutely no political context here. Simply the definition of the word WOKE, which is the past tense of wake.
The name came from my own personal AWAKENING.
After years of college and leaning towards the “safe route”, a teaching job, I realized the opportunity I had to change lives through health and fitness. For years I felt like I was just going through the motions and one day felt like I WOKE up and went all in on my career as a personal trainer.
My goal is to awaken my clients knowledge on how to train and take better care of their bodies. To AWAKEN YOUR INNER ATHLETE.
I want people to be aware of the gimmicks and fads in the health and fitness industry.
To recognize what is real and what is fake or doesn’t make sense.
To not over complicate things, to work hard, have fun, and enjoy the process!
